Info Freaking

I used to be Kosheen fan… well… actually I still like some of their remixes (that other DJ remix), because live they sound like shit. They really do. Go to their concert and you will know what I am talking about…

They came to Banja Luka, Bosnia, July 23rd 2009 … We were all excited because our city is going to host Kosheen on Demo Fest (btw - great festival guys - Respect!) … few days later I was reading in newspapers what were Kosheen’s  demands for coming to Demo Fest. 

They demanded:
- complete English Breakfast (ok, I understand - you want to eat greasy eggs, bacon and beans… enjoy - if that’s possible… ) 
- tortillas (ok, no problem…)
- guacamole (anyway Banja Luka is famous for avocado … sigh… dear Kosheen - even though it is possible to make guacamole, guacamole you will be eating in Banja Luka is shitty because avocado that comes here is .. well… shitty…so, enjoy your guacamole…)
- few other sauces    
- oxtail soup (what can I say about that????? I just hope you got canned version :))))
- pork pie (there are many pies that are actually traditional Bosnian food, they are called “sirnica” (made with young cheese, “burek” (made with minced meat), “zeljanica” (made with cabbage or spinach, or some other versions), “krompirusa” (made with potatoes) etc. - and there are sooo many versions here… they actually wanted traditional British food… WTF? … you could at least try something Bosnian) 
- champaign „veuve clicquot ponsardin” (price varies from $80.00 - $140.00…)
and
- jalapeno (they are chili peppers grown here, but not freaking jalapeno - it’s a f***** Mexican chili pepper)     

I am soooo disappointed of those so-called stars … I mean it’s ok to demand stuff like no meat if you are a vegan or I don’t know what… but wanting jalapeno in Bosnia is like wanting “vlasicki sir” in London or freaking Brussels! 

Well… dear Kosheen - I hoped you have enjoyed all the specialties you wanted…

5 years ago only few of us knew what social networking is. Today it is almost impossible not to have a profile on one of social networks. Some love FaceBook, and some are ‘addicted’ to Twitter. It’s all a matter of personal taste. Social networks cover topics like dating, software development, music photos and films. There are social networks that work as news generating sites, and there are networks that will help you find people that you haven’t met for the past 10 years.

According to paper from Serbian car manufacturer Zastava, factory is going to close production of one of the world’s most infamous cars - Yugo.

First Yugo cars were delivered to US in 1985. and until 1990. company sold 141,511 Yugo cars to Americans.  Car very quickly developed a very poor reputation for reliability, there were occurrences with even new car’s headlights drop away if you push the brake too quickly.

That, and many other manifestations of poor quality pulled a numerous jokes with the Yugo as main actor. One of my favorites is “- Why do Yugos have heated rear windows? - To keep your hands warm while you are pushing them in the winter!”. Yugo was driven by Bruce Willis in Die Hard, and due to its charisma and low price it inspired works of many conceptual artists and car enthusiasts,

To not be all that negative for Yugo, there were and still are car enthusiasts who appreciates Yugo’s responsiveness and breezy starts, when the semaphore turns green. There are yugo fan clubs, and virtual clubs on flickr, facebook and other social communities. Yugo is now officially gone, but it still lives in hearts of many!

They are not human, but they are still our celebrities!

Best human friends are usually dogs, but other animals can also make movie superstars: pigs, fishes, dolphins, deers, and even spiders. Put darling animals and kids in a same film and you’ll get a winning combo. Here are few movies with animals which everybody like:

Free  Willy - Dangerous killer whales are also very smart and can become family movie superstars.

Turner and Hooch - Not only pretty dogs can became our heroes, here is a proof.

Finding Nemo - which has an animal family as a central film figures.

Babe - Nowadays, pigs are not only lunch ingredients, they are also great actors.

Lassie - Synonym for a faithful dog.

Charlotte’s Web - Believe it or not, spider can become best kid’s friend.

Bambi - Wolt Disney’s classic, it became synonym for touching family movie.

- Time is our enemy!
- What’s this supposed to mean?
- Something that I’ve been afraid of and haven’t had to face until now.
- What? What!?! Just say it.
- It is not that simple .. I have 6 arms! But who believes that crap anymore?

- Well, they do at the Digg community, apparently… I had a visitor today… The Digg wants your help finding a missing story.
- Well, I hope you told them to go screw themselves?
- They say ‘all is forgiven. That they’ll drop all charges against you if you come in and help them solve this case.
- The Digg community will forgive me? They put me on trial on bogus charges and tried to discredit a decade of my work. They should be asking me for my forgiveness.
- I think they are. Desperately.
